4月2日（美国当地时间），美国政府宣布关税大幅调整增加。2天来，中国乐器协会电话了解部分会员企业情况。大家一致认为，美国这一行为，粗暴破坏了中美正常贸易秩序，严重影响了全球产业合作，极大损害了包括美国人民在内的消费者权益。中国乐器协会以及广大会员企业对此表示严重关切和坚决反对。
音乐是凝聚、团结全世界人民的强大力量。音乐语言是跨国界、跨年龄、跨地域、跨种族、跨性别的最美好的表达。更重要的是，音乐演奏本应让置身全球各地的我们更加团结、凝聚，绝对不应对音乐的载体——乐器的制造和贸易施加任何惩罚性措施或限制。
目前，乐器生产制造与出口，中国均全球第一，亦为第二大乐器消费国。具有产业链完备、制造水平越来越高的优势与特征。中国乐器制造行业，通过全球乐器贸易，为世界各国人民，源源不断地输送了高质量乐器，为全世界人民的音乐生活贡献了力量。
中国乐器协会代表全国乐器制造行业，强烈呼吁世界各国乐器制造行业组织与我们一起，共同呼吁并敦促美国政府和世界各国政府支持乐器及其所用原材料的的自由贸易，对全球所有音乐家使用的乐器产品及其配件免除普遍征收的惩罚性关税，建设一个让乐器更加融通的世界。

Statement
On April 2 (local time in the United States), the U.S. government announced significant adjustments and increases in tariffs. Over the past two days, China Musical Instrument Association has called to learn about the situations of some member enterprises. Everyone agrees that this action of the United States has brutally disrupted the normal trade order between China and the United States, seriously affected global industrial cooperation, and greatly damaged the rights and interests of consumers, including the American people. China Musical Instrument Association and the vast number of member enterprises express serious concern and firm opposition to this.
Music is a powerful force that unites people all over the world. The language of music is the most beautiful form of expression that transcends national boundaries, ages, regions, ethnic groups and genders. More importantly, music performance should make us, who are located all over the world, more united and cohesive. There should definitely be no punitive measures or restrictions imposed on the manufacturing and trade of musical instruments, which are the carriers of music.
Currently, China ranks first globally in both the production and export of musical instruments, and it is also the second largest consumer market for musical instruments. It has the advantages and characteristics of a complete industrial chain and an increasingly higher manufacturing level. Through global musical instrument trade, China's musical instrument manufacturing industry has continuously supplied high-quality musical instruments to people in various countries around the world, contributing to the musical life of people worldwide.
China Musical Instrument Association, on behalf of the national musical instrument manufacturing industry, strongly appeals to musical instrument manufacturing industry organizations in various countries around the world to join us in jointly calling for and urging the U.S. government and governments of all countries in the world to support the free trade of musical instruments and their raw materials, exempt musical instrument products and their accessories used by all musicians around the world from the commonly imposed punitive tariffs so as to build a world where musical instruments are more integrated.
